Bobby Tabshey

Bobby has been working in the family paving business since he was about 18 years old. Though he works hard at his business he also plays hard and enjoys his life.  When he comes home from a long day his family and kids are a priority but also spends time with his amazing toy collection. He still has a few GI Joes that he has taken great care of since he was only 5 or six, but  doesn’t think the collecting bug hit until later.  At about 11 or 12 he started collecting with baseball cards, not for any chance at financial gain, but for fun!  He was also very good a “Flipping” cards and won quite a few while playing, though he is known to have given them all away at the end of the school year in grand fashion.  He would gather his friends at the bottom of a hill and while standing at the top, throw them all into the air, allowing them to grab what they could in a free for all.    He once took his two brother’s Munster lunch boxes to a toy show where dealers quickly approached him asking him to sell.  He sold one for $350 and the other was traded for some comic books and Superhero trading cards.  He has since replaced the Munster lunch box adding it to his collection of others from 60s and 70s TV shows. Now Bobby is mainly searching the net for comic books to fill voids in his Batman Vol 1-100 and Superman 1-50 collections, only selling a few things he has little attachment to.
